Very fine pair. Brass frames are marked ""D. Egg"" on left side and ""London"" on right. The barrels are 3.5"" and are smoothbore. Percussion pistols are Birmingham proofed on both barrel and frame. The cocks have sliding safeties. Grips are finely checkered. The back of the grips have a silver rectangular plate for crest or initials. Actions work perfectly. The case is very good plus and has the powder flask, cap tin, oiler and wrench. The case has the trade label of ""Collins Gun and Pistol Repository, 115 Regent Street"". They were most likely the retail sells of these pistols. The lining is violet velvet and is in very good condition. Egg was one of the very best gunmakers in London and his work is very much sought after!
