Springfield 1862 – 20ga - Percussion - Stk #C305
This Springfield 1862 is a 20ga has a converted 33” tapered round smooth bore barrel. The front sight is a fixed bead. Finish on the barrel is worn with sporadic pitting near the breech. The bore is in good condition with slight pitting. The Walnut half stock is in good condition with the exception of some handling marks. All the furniture and lock have been gold plated. The large military style percussion lock is stamped U.S Springfield 1862. Note: This rifle is missing the ram rod. Length of pull is 13-1/4”, overall length is 49-1/2”, and weight is 6.8 lbs.
