Description:
This is a Very Good + Spencer Model 1860 Carbine. SN. 37385 is about center of the 11,000 to 62,000 SN.range issued to the U.S. Ordinance Dept. during the Civil War. It was made in 1863  and has 2 cartouches on the stock behind the saddle ring bar. There are traces of Casehardening remaining but not much. All screws and parts appear to be original showing very minor wear. The lever and hammer work fine. The 7 shot magazine tube is undamaged with a strong spring. The photos show the scratches and dings in the wood and metal. The 52 Cal. Bore is good with all lands and grooves visible. A honest war used Spencer. 5 days inspection with buyer paying the return shipping. Shipping is $45.00 to most of the lower 48 with Al, CA, OR, WA and HI paying $65.00.  Via Priority Mail and includes insurance and tracking. No FFL required Pay using Pay Pal, Money order, or Personal check. Held for 3 to 5 days
