Description:
For sale is a Colt Model 1908 .25 auto originally shipped to Kansas City in 1921. It is in extremely fine condition with only the most minimal handling marks. Pictures accurately show condition. The slide is numbered to the gun, and the nickel magazine is correct in all aspects, leading me to believe it is original to gun. Action is tight and works properly.Per the Colt letter, the gun was returned to Colt in 1925 (reason unknown) and then reshipped with checkered walnut grips in 1928 to Roanoke Hardware in Roanoke, VA. An unusual letter but no clarifying details are listted. The grips are in like new condition with only one minor impression to the left and above the medallion on the left grip.Sale includes a Colt 1908 manual.
