***This is a BEAUTIFUL Winchester model 42 .410 pump action shotgun with SKEET choke.
According to the Winchester this was manufactured in 1962.
The barrel is 26 inches long with a perfect bore, Simmons rib, and is marked 3 inch chamber.
The length of pull is 14.5 inches long. The finish on the wood and metal both appear to be original, no buff marks and all the lettering is crips with sharp edges...even coloring on all surfaces. The deluxe factory checkered wood is just BEAUTIFUL, lots of color and detail in the texture of the wood. You can feel a couple little surface tics on the left side of the stock, but they appear to be part of the wood grain....they are nearly impossible to see. The action works flawlessly and the bore is perfect. This will ship for $50 to your C&R license or FFL. We are happy to provide more detailed pictures upon request.
**Info added....we have found out that the rib is a later addition, most likely done by Simmons and the stock is made by Jaeger Jenkinstown, Pa. This is a beautiful gun in wonderful condition.
