NSN, .69 caliber 42"" round barrel converted Model 1816 percussion smoothbore musket by N. Starr. Metal is a dull grey patina, lock is dated 1837 with crisp markings. Action functions correctly. Wood shows usage and handling wear, some wood loss is noted between the middle and front barrel band. Good example of an early Civil War era gun!
