U.S. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1903 BOLT ACTION MILITARY RIFLE 30-06 - EARLY GUN SER# 234527. AV BARREL DATED 2-18 ( AVIS GUN CO. M1903 FIELD REPLACEMENT BARREL 1917-1919). GOOD BRIGHT BORE WITH A VERY TIGHT MUZZLE THAT GAUGES A "1". SA MARKED BOLT . GOOD SOLID WOOD WITH VERY FAINT CARTOCHE ON THE LEFT SIDE.
This was commenced at Springfield Armory at approximately serial number 800,000 and at Rock Island Arsenal at exactly serial number 285,507. All Springfields made after this change are commonly called “high number” rifles. THERE IS A DEBATE WEITHER LOW NUMBER GUNS ARE SAFE TO SHOOT.

It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. By , the buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing , non messing with ( turning srews ,taking apart,removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or messing with in anyway) inspection/return privilege.Inspection is based on a visual review of the gun to confirm the gun is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, buyer pays all shipping charges & if paid for with a credit card buyer absorbs the 3% credit card charges . So please ask questions BEFORE you bid.
