** SOLD PENDING FUNDS **For your consideration we have this very nice Parker Brothers VHE in the desirable 20 gauge with 28" Barrels, 0 Frame and ejectors. Mechanically the gun is excellent. It locks up tight, the ejectors are well timed and strong and the barrells ring like a bell. Aesthetically the gun shows wear commensurate with age and use. The Dogs Head Butt Plate has had a crack that was repaired. The gun retains 70% of original blue finish and faint traces of original case colors, brown patina on the barrels, some pitting on the bottom rib at head of fore-end, grey patina on the action, areas of spotting and handling evidence. The wood is fine with numerous scratches and dents, well defined checkering that is smooth in places. The configuration is confirmed on page 588 of "Parker Gun Identification and Serialization" by Price and Fjestad. Very modern stock dimensions and very lively in the hands. Ready to go afield for another 100 years. I will include a copy of the letter from the Parker Gun Collectors Association. Please note that the reference to a 1936 price list is a mistake.
