This is a lovely Griffin and Howe/Remington 721 “Custom” .270 Win. manufactured in 1948. The wood shows only a couple of very minor handling marks, checkering on the grip and forearm have remained crisp. The receiver is equipped with a Griffin & Howe side mount, Lyman M48 receiver sight and Weaver 4X rifle scope. Bore is bright and clear with well defined lands and grooves. Mechanically excellent in like new condition. What a beautiful example of fine wood and rifle making joined together to make this excellent hunting rifle, and with it being a .270 it’s a classic deer rifle!
