Description:
This is a Smith & Wesson Model 1000 semi-automatic shotgun in 12 gauge. This Model 1000 features a 28" barrel with 2 3/4" chamber. The Smith & Wesson Model 1000 was offered in the 1970s and 1980s. The reason the Model 1000 performs when other autoloaders fail is the patented internal gas metering system that compensates for pressure differences in ammunition to control bolt velocity and minimize stress on the receiver and action. There are minor handling marks on the stock. On the bottom of the stock there's a half of inch scratch that the top gloss is missing. On the receiver the engraving is in excellent condition, and there small handling marks. Overall this shotgun is in excellent condition.
