Description:
Serial #K126828, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a pre-1955, five-screw revolver that retains 92-95% of the original blue finish, with a thin turn-ring on the cylinder, and further fading and silvering along the high and exposed edges and surfaces. A removable compensator has been fitted to the barrel, and the trigger has an added shoe for better finger purchase. The hammer has been owner-modified so that the spur extends to the left, making single-action cocking easier for a right-handed shooter. The aftermarket “MADE IN ITALY" marked target grips have a wide thumb-rest on the left panel, and are in fine shape, with scattered minor handling marks, and some flattening of the points. The lock-up is firm, and the action functions flawlessly, with a noticeably smoother than factory break to the trigger in single-action. This is a very nice custom target revolver, and rates fine overall. FFL or C&R
