Description:
Serial #32572. This is a pair of porro prism binoculars with range stadia marks in the left tube. The exterior wrap and independently focused resin eyepieces are in very good-near fine condition, although the USMC markings on the left housing, although still fully legible, were intentionally defaced (probably done when the set was sold off as surplus). The optics are still quite clear, however the prisms are slightly out of collimation and need to be realigned. The binoculars still have the original, worn but still serviceable leather neck lanyard, and is housed in the original brown leather, black felt-lined case. This is a very good piece of WW2 USMC militaria, and is in about very good condition overall.
