Here we have a very lightly used Colt New Frontier single action rimfire buntline revolver with .22 long rifle and .22 magnum cylinders. This fine revolver was made in 1975. This example has some high edge wear almost exclusively at the muzzle and the 7 1/2 inch barrel has a very good bore. The .22 long rifle cylinder has a few spots in the cylinder (one of which can be seen in the last photograph) and the magnum cylinder has two very small spots you really have to look hard to even see. The steel frame is case is very nicely case hardened and shows only the slightest of wear. The hard rubber grip panels are free of chips or cracks. Sights are a ramp front and adjustable rear. Turn rings are very minimal on both cylinders. Though not unfired this revolver would make an excellent addition to an existing collection or a cost effective way to begin a new collection of Colt single actions.
