*** SOLD *** SOLD *** "Hunter grade" 1920 Savage 99 take-down carbine (serial # 217986) in 303 Savage caliber with 20" barrel in very good condition and a shiny bore. Put away that 300 Winchester magnum this year, with the 4x14x50 range finding scope, and hunt with this 303 Savage and put some fun back into the hunt this fall, like the good old days. Action lock up is tight and so is the threaded barrel to the receiver. Also, the safety and cocked indicator pin work as they should. Comes with 40 rounds of Old Western Scrounger 303 Savage ammo, labeled in different grain, but the two boxes weigh the same on my post office scale, so .....??? But anyway, you will have some ammo to hunt that big whitetail with. Two shipping boxes for this Savage, as I can not ship the ammo with the rifle. $65 S&H to most of the lower 48. Eight far west states at $75 S&H. Post office money orders preferred for payment, with checks taking 2 or 3 days to clear. No warranty stated or implied by the seller. Consignment gun-no return.
