I am over my head on this one and I have no information to substantiate any guesses. It is an outstanding piece of art. The workmanship is excellent, just look at the high quality photos to be able to judge for yourself. This was an estate piece and the people handling the sale had no information on it at all. According to the serial # the gun was manufactured in 1950. The engraving alone would probably exceed $10,000 today. Please feel free to share any knowledge you may have about the engraving or woodwork.
