Description:
This Savage Arms Model 99 lever action rifle in .300 Savage is in very good condition. The blued barrel and receiver frame are very good. The blue 22" barrel is very good with sharp crisp rifling in its bore. The factory single trigger is firm with a smooth release. The walnut stock and fore end are very good with only a couple of small imperfections. The .300 Savage cartridge is a rimless, .30 caliber rifle cartridge developed for the Savage model 99. It has ballistics similar to the .308 Winchester. .300 Savage
