Description:
A very good bore. Original sights. Full length mag tube. Wood appears to have come off a gun in a later vintage as it is not the typical first model style checkering. It is a straight stock deluxe checkered wood, however. A very interesting gun. I would have bet that Nimschke would have done it as it has his flowing scrolls style. The engraving dates back to the period this gun was manufactured. Functioning set trigger. Barrel and mag tube retain traces of blue. Sharp corners and good markings. Frame has turned a plum/brown and shows a fair amount of wear. Engraving on the dust cover as well as the elevator having the cross-hatch checkering with dots. Factory Letter states only the octagon barrel and set trigger.
