Description:
This is an extremely nice Civil War era Colts Patent bullet mold for the 1860 Army Colt revolver. The Colts Patent marking on the front and the 44H marking on the right block are both very clear. There is a lighter C stamped lower on the right block. This mold opens and closes smoothly and the sprue cutter works exactly as it should. The cavities are near-perfect. The back closes tightly. This mold has a beautiful gun-metal grey patina. It has some very light salt and pepper pitting under the finish but it does not have any abuse marks. It would be hard to improve on this bullet mold.
