Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This is an example of a desirable U.S. Smith & Wesson Model 1899 Army DA revolver chambered in .38 long Colt caliber. Out of the total production of 20,975 manufactured from 1899 to 1902, only 1,000 were delivered to the U.S. Army in 1901 in the serial number range of 13,000 to 14,000. This particular example has had almost all of it's original finish worn off and is basically a grey gun. It has proper inspector marks "K.S.M." several places on the gun and the butt is marked US/ARMY/MODEL/1899 as it should. The 6 inch barrel is frosted with one very light bulge but some rifling remains. Grip panels are free of chips or cracks and do have a few pressure indentions.
