Made in 2000, this truly exceptional 28ga Perazzi Extra Gold, is easily the very nicest Perazzi I have ever handled in terms of overall quality, fit & finish. The gun was built with 26" barrels, low profile matted rib, slim forend, gold plated SST, auto ejectors, auto safety, and straight English stock. The gun is engraved by Galeazzi and is of truly exceptional quality with the most lifelike game scenes one could imagine. The more you study the engraving, the finer details you notice - it is captivating and incredibly well done, lifelike and superb in all regards. Sidelock action is full coverage engraved as seen in the photos. Mounted with a truly incredible piece of Circasian Walnut with fantastic and rich streaking throughout. The gun is housed in its original Perazzi brand canvas and leather case.
Overall, the gun remains in factory test fired original condition with virtually all original finishes to both wood and metal. Mechanics are perfect and bores are brilliant and shiny. The case is near mint with only minor rub marks.
This gun transcends its form as a gun to the realm of functional artwork. It is truly incredible and should be seen to be appreciated.
