RARE AND VERY LIMITED PRODUCTION MINTY CONDITION .32 NEW POLICE (.32 S&W LONG) OFFICERS MODEL HEAVY BARREL TARGET REVOLVER, WITH ORIGINAL BOX, #656XXX, MADE 1941. Only a few hundred of these were made just prior to World War II making this caliber/model one of the most scarce of all Colts. Retains about all the blue, perfect markings, checkered back strap and trigger, grips, bore, mech. etc. Not even a cylinder drag line. The maroon box is fine and solid with full end labels: the top is printed, "TARGET HEAVY BARREL PATRIDGE SIGHT" and the bottom label is marked, "6 COLT'S OFFICERS MODEL REVOLVER 32" over "WOOD BLUE." Has the usual inside lid and main body box Colt printed material (on English and Spanish) showing some grease staining, but all legible. Also contains the Colt brochure "SHOOTING SUGGESTIONS." The bottom of the box is correctly pencil serial numbered to match this revolver. Many Colt collectors have never seen one of these. A great offering.
