EARLY WW2 WWII U.S. WINCHESTER M1 M-1 GARAND RIFLE RECEIVER CIRCA APRIL 1942. Serial number “1569xx” crisply struck below address. Crisp leg markings, barrel threads, and sight knurlings. Original black Winchester factory phosphate finish (sign of early war production). Small scratches and dings lend credence to period use with no sign of later arsenal refurbishment. Excellent example of very early WWII Winchester M-1 Garand rifle receiver ready for rebuild.
