WWII WW2 JUST POST PEARL HARBOR SPRINGFIELD M1or M-1 GARAND RIFLE RECIEVER CIRCA FEBRUARY 1942. Serial number “4737xx” crisply struck with same address above. Crisp “D” leg markings and heat treatment batch numbers. Stamped “Intrac, Knox, TN” below sight. Armory reparkerized along with heel annealment (hence the two-tone color). Barrel threads excellent along with and sight knurlings. This M-1 is a good candidate to be rebuilt.
