Description:
General Specs: Colt, Year 1968, .357 Magnum, 39.3oz
Serial Number: 75637

Considered the "Rolls-Royce of Colt Revolvers", the Colt Python has a reputation for accuracy, smooth trigger pull, and a tight cylinder lock-up. Built on Colt's large I-frame, it is a double action handgun chambered for .357 Magnum cartridge and features a full barrel underlug, ventilated rib and adjustable sights. Originally designed as a target revolver, the Python came with a smooth trigger and rock solid construction. Once a popular carry among uniformed and plainclothes officers, there is no doubt why this was called the "best revolver in the world".

A 1968 Colt Python with all original factory Electroless Nickel finish enhanced with an after market gold plated jeweled trigger, hammer and a cylinder release to match. This gun epitomizes everything you've ever heard about the famous Colt Python snake guns!  Impeccable finish and mechanics, hand finished and tuned to legendary precision. Cocking the hammer on this gun is the most satisfying combination of sound and mechanical perfection leading to a SA trigger break of 2.5lb, DA is likewise smooth at 9.4lb.The cylinder shows just a faint drag line and with its mirrored bore and checkered Walnut grips in top condition suggests this gun being used lightly.
With prices of Pythons continuing to climb, getting a foot on the ladder sooner than later is the way to go. There are diminishing chances to own a vintage Python so strike fast or this snake will be gone!
