Description:
This Lee Enfield SHT L.E. is in fair condition with scratches and dents throughout the wood. There is slight rusting in the barrel and wear on all of the metal components. We believe that this SHT L.E was manufactured in 1917 which is a very late production for this model considering it went into testing around 1902. The SMLE went into testing in 1903 and was the rifle that was chosen over the SHT L.E. but both were manufactured for World War I. The action is very smooth and is followed by a light crisp trigger break. .303 British
