Description:
This U.S. Springfield model 1898 is in great condition and will make an excellent addition to your collection. Also known as the Krag Jorgensen, this rifle was adopted by the United States Army and was the first smokeless powder rifle to be issued. This rifle served with the United States through the Spanish American War until the adoption of the M1903. There is slight wear on the barrel and receiver with some scratches and bumps on the fore end. The action is very smooth and is followed by a crisp trigger break. .30-40 Krag
