Description:
The FN 509 Compact Pistol is fed by a 17-round magazine of 9mm Luger and features enhanced texturing on the grip. This semi-auto pistol has aggressive cocking serrations on the slide to provide a positive, nonslip hold when loading or clearing the weapon. The cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel has a recessed target crown to improve accuracy. The striker-fired, DAO trigger pull is short and smooth, and the trigger reset is positive. The frame has a MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail in front of the trigger guard for attaching optional aftermarket laser sights or tactical lights. The metal, 3-dot luminescent sights are dovetailed into the slide, and can be drift adjusted for windage. The magazine release and slide release are easy to reach and fully ambidextrous.
