Description:
This is a great example of a French SACM Model 1935A issued to the Nazi military during WWII. The gun has the proper "WaA251" Nazi military acceptance proof on the left side of the slide and a Nazi Eagle marking on the barrel. The 1935A pistols originally had a parkerized finish with a black enamel coating applied over top. This particular 1935A has lost its black enamel coating and retains a large portion of its original parkerized finish. The parkerizing shows even and consistent wear for its age and has started to develop a nice "weathered / battle-worn" look. The original grips are in great overall condition and show no signs of cracks or repairs, just various scattered handling marks. The bore is bright with strong rifling but does show signs of light pitting throughout. The factory controls function 100% and the pistol comes with a period-correct magazine. This 1935A appears to be all matching due to the consistency of the wear and many of these pistols had un-numbered components.
