A Scarce Civil War Civil War Confederate Braised Bolster Alteration on A "R. Johnson" Model 1836 Pistol In Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The Pistol has fine metal and markings throughout. It is marked on the lock "U.S./R. JOHNSON/MIDDN. CONN/1837". It is marked on top of the barrel "U.S./TW/P". All of the metal on the pistol has fine edges and a natural light patina on it. The wood on the gun is excellent throughout with crisp edges and a wonderful color. There are two perfect inspectors cartouches on the backside. It has a fine action and bore. This Is A Very High Condition Example Of A Scarce Civil War Confederate Braised Bolster Alteration On A "R. Johnson" Model 1836 Pistol!
