Description:
Standard configuration with 28 inch round barrel. Semi-bright bore with scattered light roughness and decent rifling throughout. barrel and mag tube finish is deep blue turning plum brown. Sights include a sporting front and 1876 marked folding rear ladder. Third model receiver with original dust cover show shows lightly thinning finish starting to turn brown, more blue in protected areas. Metal surfaces overall are mostly smooth with only scattered light handling marks. Straight grip walnut stock and forearm are full fitting with only light handling marks. There have been some small chip glued back in place on the comb just ahead of the butt plate and a couple of age cracks on the left side.
