Description:
For sale is a nice Winchester 1894 26" octagon barreled rifle chambered in .32-40 caliber. The bore is bright with strong rifling and no pitting. The accompanying Cody Museum search letter confirms the gun to be in original configuration. The metal finish on the barrel and magazine tube is starting to fade and shows a few light dings but no pitting. The receiver ,bolt, lever and crescent buttplate are are turning grey with light freckling throughout. The wood shows some dings and scratches but no cracks or missing chips. The action is tight and the hammer stays back when levered. Half cock is functional. Insure your FFL will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. No sales to Hawaii. Shipping will be by UPS ground insured and tracked for $55. Sale to Alaska requires additional charges.
