Fine, bright bore. This is a handsome commercial revolver that retains 85-90% of the original bright rust blue finish with the balance of the metal having a mellow plum-brown patina. The Adams markings are clear and crisp along the top of the barrel: “ADAMS'S PATENT SMALL ARMS Co. 391. STRAND, LONDON”; and the patent markings are clear along the right side of the frame. The checkered walnut grip is in very good condition with some small handling marks, some very mild flattening of the points. The mechanism is fully functional and the revolver is in excellent condition overall.
