Offering here is a brand new custom rifle made by Jim Kneiper 50 yr gunmaker. Built on an 09 Argentine action in 280 Ackley. The rifle features a Canjar trigger, Customized bottom metal, Custom French Gray finished bolt handle, finely jeweled bolt and follower with a 3 position model 70 safety and New England Custom Guns bolt release. The barrel is a 24" Shaw, test fired once at the factory and finished in a matte rust blue, epoxy bedded inluding recoil lug. The stock is exhibition Bastogne walnut 13 1/2" LOP with incredible fiddle back, ebony forend, Fisher steel grip cap, Niedner steel checkered butt plate and Ullman precision sling swivel studs. AS A POINT OF INTEREST, YOU MAY SHOOT 280 REMINGTON IN A 280 ACKLEY SAFELY. THE ACKLEY CARTRIDGE IS MADE FROM FIRE FORMING A 280 REM BY EXPANDING THE SHOULDERS. THE ACKLEY IS ABOUT 200FPS FASTER. THEREFORE AT 100 YDS THE REMINGTON WILL BE ABOUT 1/4" LOWER.
