This Browning A-5 Sweet Sixteen. Cal 16g was mfg abt 1956 and has the original stock. It has a few very light handling marks
and has the correct original FN Butt Plate. The Stock (Rounded Knob)& Forearm are a reddish medium light Walnut w/o any cracks
and are numbered to the receiver. The Gun Metal is about 98% and could possibly have been an earlier resotoration. It's very nice and if it was
it was probably done by someone like Art's Gun Shop. Also to note this is the Grade I w/the correct engraving and the pic of "John Moses Browning".
The ventilated rib barrel is 28 inches & is perfect. The bore is a mirror. The action is tight and smooth. These S-16's in this beautiful Reddish Tone w/a Round Knob are getting like hens teeth to me. The choke is * Full.
I would rate this as an NRA VG to Excellent.
