Parker AHE 12 gauge SxS shotgun. This is a very fine example of a high-grade Parker. Made in 1923 this gun is exactly as it is shown in the Parker specification book. A6 grade (AH); #5 options which are ejectors and single selective trigger; straight grip stock; and 30” barrels.
The frame on this gun is exquisitely engraved with quail on the right side, ducks on the left, a dog with a retrieved quail on the floor plate and a flying pheasant on the bottom. Although the case colors have faded to almost non-existent the engraving is very sharp and crisp. In addition to the game scenes the rest of the frame is covered in fine scroll engraving. One of the best examples of an AHE!
The gun is built on a standard #2 frame. The 30” solid rib barrels are choked F/F and measure .035”/.035” and as you can see in the photos the barrels are Acme steel. 13 ½” LOP over the solid red pad. (Please note that LOP measurement is from the Parker Single Trigger; with double triggers the LOP would measure 14”!!) Drop at Comb is 1 ½” and 2 ½” DAH. Weight is 7 lbs. 11 oz. Original 2 1/2" chambers.
