A Confederate Used Civil War Smith Carbine With A Handmade Confederate Hammer On It In Very Good Untouched Condition. Serial #16838, all matching numbers. The Carbine has good metal and markings. It has a handmade Confederate Made Hammer which was made up of at least two pieces. This Smith Carbine was most likely captured By A Southern Soldier. All of the metal on the gun has a nice untouched dark patina on it. The original wood on the carbine is very good throughout with nice edges. The carbine has a very good bore and action. This Is A Very Good Example Of A Confederate Captured Smith Carbine With a Confederate Handmade Hammer On It. This Confederate Smith Carbine Walked Into A Friends Shop In Downtown Richmond Virginia Who Sent It To Me!
