From a mid-west estate sale, a S&W model 60 38 Special cal. with a 2" barrel,#08239 new in the correct box numbered to the pistol. Factory box with all papers (see photos). Stainless steel with a gold trigger shoe (see photos) At the sale they gave the following information about the exotic wood grips. Earle "Fuzzy" Farrant was a fairly famous custom grip maker in the 60's and 70's, especially popular among LAPD officers for use on duty pistols, but stopped as police revolvers became less common. Fuzzy initially made combat style grips for use on duty revolvers, then eventually moved to making target grips. (see photos). I did not get the original grips with the pistol. I bought this gun as new and unfired, and after close inspection I think it has possibly been fired, but if so has only been shot a few time; therefore, I have listed it as used. I am offering this pistol with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
