Description:
Cal 45 Colt. Serial number 34629 (1877) appears on the cylinder, frame, backstrap and trigger guard. Added markings include the "US" on the left side of the frame, "JTC" (John T. Cleveland) on frame and cyllinder and cartouches of 1877 on grips. Sub inspector markings "P" appear on the cylinder and barrel.
Barrel , cylinder and grip straps retain 90% of rebllued finish showing areas of bronze coloring from bluing salt temperature. The front sight is reattached. Frame and hammer are recolored. The grips show small handlng marks. .
The action flunctions smoothly. The bore surfaces are dark but without pitting and with distinct lands and groves .
This is a beautiful Colt revolver that would make an excellent addition to any Colt collection at a very reasonable price.
