Description:
The Remington® Model Seven Lightweight is a fast handling bolt-action rifle that gets on target instantly in tight cover, and also delivers precision accuracy for hunting in open, mountainous terrain. The Model Seven action and receiver are based on the famous Model 700 action that encloses the cartridge head in 3 rings of steel: the recessed bolt face, the chamber end of the barrel, and the front receiver ring. This design provides inherent strength, while holding the cartridge in precise alignment with the bore for exceptional accuracy. The Model Seven Lightweight model comes with a traditional, straight-comb American walnut stock with slight Schnabel tip. The barrel and 1-piece receiver are deeply blued. A 2-position safety at the rear of the action is quick to operate with the thumb and can also be gripped between the forefinger and thumb and moved extra quietly. The Remington Model Seven Lightweight has steel a hinged floorplate for safe and easy unloading of the magazine and steel trigger guard. Made in USA 1983. .222 Remington
