Description:
For sale is a model 1899 Springfield Krag Carbine chambered in 30-40 Krag this is an actual carbine not a "cut Down" Rifle. overall for the year this is in very good condition. The bore is reflective but does have some pitting and there are some superficial cracking in the upper hand guard and in front of the hand guard. The action is butter smooth and is not sportorised or drilled and tapped for scopes or non original sights. The sliding rear sight has some damage to it but is still serviceable. It is a fairly standard crag sight that was used on many military rifles and replacement parts are available. This is not an Antique but is a C&R
