Description:
Caliber 48. 6-1/4 inch octagon barrel. Top hammer style. Marked on top of the barrel is "James Beattie 205 Regent St. London". Barrel retains about 90% blue. Side plates have about 50-60% case colors. Nicely engraved in an English style. Mechanically excellent. Checkered wood grips are in nice condition with only minor wear and a clam shell design carving at the top. Butt has a compartment for caps.
