Listed is a Smith & Wesson Model 36 (No Dash), also known as the Chiefs Special. Serial # J 247 6XX
This Model 36 has a 2-inch pinned barrel, the bore is clean and shiny. The blue is in good to very good condtion.
This gun came from the factory with a Smith & Wesson manufactured T-grip, and has a square butt frame. Both of these features being exceedingly rare.
The T-grip is easily removable if you prefer a standard grip.
The box is in good condition, it has very nice edges and little wear. The label is in good condition, legible, and matches the gun. Opposite the label reads "Smith & Wesson .38 Chiefs Special Blue Finish Model 36 2-Inch Barrel Square Butt". The box includes wax paper and instructions.
This gun would make a fine addition to any collection, or a amazing start to a new one.
