Description:
The centerfire Marlin Model 336 lever-action rifle debuted in 1948. Though that's seven decades ago, it's only half as old as the Marlin Arms Company, founded by John M. Marlin in New Haven, Connecticut in 1870! Marlin's top-of-the-line 336 soldiers on because people love lever-actions and they look great. The guns are also historic since it is with the 336 that Marlin combined a new circular bolt design and Micro-Groove rifling with its already innovative scope friendly flattop side ejection port receiver. Model 336 lever-actions are chambered in .30-30 Win. This 336W is chambered for .30-30 Win and has a 20" barrel. The metal parts are blued and joined to nice American walnut. The forend and grip both have beautifully detailed checkering with pennant surrounds. The grip also features an attractive diamond in checkered area. Comes with a factory mounted 3-9x32mm scope. .30-30 Winchester
