*** SOLD *** SOLD *** Beautiful 1954 (boss code 5F) Savage 99EG (serial # 732697) in 300 Savage caliber with 24" barrel, remaining in excellent condition, with a shiny bore. This EG is one of only a few made in 1954, in the earlier 700000s serial number range, to be factory drilled and tapped for the Weaver style top scope mounts and the "Savage Model 99" stamping was moved to the left side of the front receiver ring to accommodate this. Then, for some reason, the EG went back to being undrilled & tapped until just after serial number 750000, when all 99s were then being D&T. This 68 year old classic was well taken care of and still has excellent wood, metal and a lot of case colors on the lever. Also, the assembly numbers on the butt plate, stock and forearm match. Add this Savage 99 to your collection and take it into the hunting woods this fall. Call or e-mail to make it yours. C&R or FFL accepted for transfer. $50 S&H to most of the lower 48.
