S O L D ........LAYAWAY?.........Tryon Mississippi Musket, dated 1847, overall lightly cleaned stock and metal. Lightly cleaned markings. The bore has original 7 grove rifling with wear to rifling and fine residue the length of the bore. There are also scattered fine spots the length of the bore. The stock has been lightly cleaned, visible but faint cartouches, a couple of tight stress lines around the lock and escutcheon. No visible date on the upper tang. Good to very good overall. Early enough for the Mexican American war and these guns were very good quality and many saw use in the Civil War too. ...S/H $55....Thanks, Greg #342a-356a
