Very good condition Marlin Golden 39-A 22 caliber lever action rifle capable of firing 22 short, long and long rifle rimfire ammunition. Blued finish with gold trigger, 24" round barrel, tubular magazine, take down frame, walnut stocks, pistol grip with cap and white spacer, shotgun butt with Marlin logo butt plate and white line spacer, factory sling swivels, trademark "Bullseye" in toe line of butt stock, ramped front sight with gold bead (missing hood). Folding rear sight has been installed, and a scope mounting rail installed on the top of the receiver using the factory-drilled holes.
CONDITION: Receiver, lever, mag tube 90% bright blue. Barrel 75% blue drifting to plum. Excellent, bright, shiny bore. Smooth action with properly working half cock safety. Stocks are sound with typical light use marks and a small chip missing between the butt stock swivel and bullseye. Take down is tight with no wobble. 35% gold left on the trigger, the balance having flaked away from use. Serial number V20415 was made in 1962. These have become highly collectible and continue to rise in value and demand.
