I have a pre 1960 Smith and Wesson Model 39, serial number 30888. Pistol is in excellent condition. I bought it from the original owner in 1992. He nevered fired it and I have only fired about 50 rounds. Not sure of exact date of manufacture, but from my research it is an original model 39. Not sure if steel or alloy frame. I have the original box, parts list, warranty cart, 2 original magazines and two after market magazines. Not sure of the value, so don't know what price to ask. I am researching it through several forums. If you are interested contact me and make an offer. May qualify as C & R.
