NAPOLEONIC ERA FRENCH MODEL 1814 GENDARMES DE LA GARDE FLINTLOCK PISTOL. 15” o/a with 9” round .70 cal. smoothbore barrel with Liege proof at left breech and otherwise unmarked. Less ornate version of the Gendarmes of the Royal Guard Model 1814. All original except replaced hammer screw. Good overall with dark patina on barrel and light salt and pepper on mounts and lock. First Empire pattern stock with checkered grip and steel pistol grip cap. Original steel ramrod. Lock in working order.
