FRENCH ST. ETIENNE MODEL 1874 DOUBLE ACTION 11MM OFFICER’S REVOLVER. 6 shot with 4 ½” barrel. 11x17.8R caliber (11mm). All matching serial numbers. Frame engraved in script “MRE DARMES/ST. ETIENNE” and top strap engraved “MLE. 1874”. Superior example all original and with most of the original bright blue finish. Excellent checkered walnut grips with perfect checkering. Perfect working order and excellent bore. All original and the best of these that we have seen. Extra nice example of the Officer's Model of the 1873 Ordnance revolver which were issued in the white whereas the Officer's model (1874) were blued like this one.
