Savage - Model 99 Take Down - .303 cal. - Stk #C269
This .303 Sav, Savage Model 99 take down rifle has a blued 22” round barrel. The bore is in good condition. The barrel is mounted with a fixed front blade sight and an adjustable rear sight. The action is smooth and locks up tight. The blued finish on the receiver is worn, along with slight wear on the barrel. The Walnut forend and buttstock with the original Savage metal butt plate are in fair to good condition but do have some usage dents, scratches, and a small crack on the front of the forend held together with a screw. It is also missing both the front and rear swivels, the holes are not filled in. The top of the pistol grip looks to have a fair size dent. Length of pull is 13”, overall length is 41-1/4”, and weight is 7.6 lbs. Our stock number is C269.
